How does cadwork Lamella work?
The module calculates user-defined lamella lists based on the contour of any shape of glulam timber beams. You receive all data required for the calculation and production, such as the amount of glue to be applied, waste material, length and position of lamellas. In addition, the press positions and setting angles are output. The data provided allows for both the manual and fully automatic set up of the press bed.
All essential boundary conditions for the calculation can be input, for example:
- truss geometry and alignment joint
• position of first press
• measurements of blanks and finished lamellas
• sorting classification of lamellas
• length graduation and curvature values
• position of dry joints
• glueing type
The module’s integration into cadwork 2D provides you with simple tools for the graphic-interactive adaptation of lamella lengths, the position of dry joints and further attributes.
