Our module cadwork Machine Beam Processing handles the processing of any 3D geometry data for transmission to joinery centres. The geometry is analysed and the necessary processing for all components is calculated for export to the joinery centre in file format. The BTL/BTLx output formats, which are not specific to particular manufacturers, as well as Hundegger’s BVN/BVX formats are available to you. This ensures cadwork’s compatibility with all commonly used joinery centres.

As with any machine used in timber construction, it is crucial for an economical use of your expensive joinery centre that data received from design are complete and match the capabilities of your machine. With cadwork, it makes no difference whether you have freely designed the building components to be produced, whether they have been generated automatically, or whether the design has been imported from external systems.

You will gain significant added value in the production process with the possibility of importing 3D designs from third-party software (via IFC, SAT or STEP formats, for example) and exporting them directly to your machine. cadwork handles the analysis and processing of the geometry for your machine without any need to redesign building components, making it an absolute highlight in the control of all common beam and panel processing centres.
