Nowadays, solid wood and CLT components are used in all areas of timber construction. They facilitate the economical construction of very large, high-quality and, most importantly, tall buildings in modern timber construction.
Highly specialised machines, which can carry out all necessary processes from saw cuts to drilling, openings and pockets right through to five-axis contours, are now available for the processing of any kind of solid wood panels or glulam trusses.
Whether or not you can make full use of your machines‘ potential, depends entirely on the software solution you use for the design process. With cadwork all design processes relevant to the production are completed to any degree of detail and all necessary attributes are defined. Building components can be nested in blanks and optimised. This way all building components and generally 100% of edits and modifications are transferred to your machine’s CAM system via BVX or BTL without any time-consuming additions and corrections of modifications in your machine’s CAM software. As a result you avoid errors in the data transfer and are guaranteed the highest quality and optimal value from your machines.
