Joinery Center
cadwork delivers the crucial data you need to make both the best and, most importantly, full use of the possibilities offered by a diverse range of wood construction machinery. cadwork supports all formats to transfer your data to Hundegger’s EKP or Cambium programmes, as well as BTL formats, for instance to supply Technowood or Biesse machines with data, or for the data output to control multifunction bridges such as those by Weinmann. In addition, further formats such as DXF and SAT for machines are also available.
Export to all machines commonly used in timber construction
Nowadays, joinery centres as well as many carpentry and timber construction companies feed designs of any type or complexity to joinery systems or multifunction bridges. Flexibility in the data transfer from a wide variety of architectural systems and joinery programmes, customised design, the exact realisation of client requests, speedy production and delivery as well as meaningful design documentation are crucial for the assembly. After all, you export your data from cadwork to state-of-the-art machines which are capable of completely and precisely finishing even five-axis machining.
Test the data export to your machines even as part of your trial installation!
Apart from transferring your own cadwork-generated design, you also have the option of transferring data from other CAD systems or joinery programmes, for instance to edit details. Even complete 3D designs can be imported from other CAD systems. They can then be sent to your machines, even though they have not been designed in cadwork.
One licence, a multitude of machines
Via only a single cadwork Machine Beam Processing licence cadwork controls all beam processors, such as Hundegger, Biesse/Uniteam, Technowood or Weinmann joinery systems. For you, this means by investing in only one licence for machinery control, you can supply data to a multitude of different machines. This will allow you smoothly to handle order peaks in cooperation with other joinery centres or carpenters who use other manufacturers‘ joinery systems.
Joinery systems, panel processing centres, multifunction bridges
Apart from data export to joinery centres, data output to all panel processing centres commonly used in timber construction is available via BVX or BTLx.
cadwork Machine Multifunction Bridge facilitates the control of multifunction bridges. The geometry of walls, ceiling and roof elements is automatically analysed. Processes such as stacking / layering, saw cuts, drilling, milling and nailing are identified in accordance with the machine and directly sent to it.
The module produces an assembly drawing which provides a clear, colour-coded representation of each process. It also allows for the coupling of several shorter walls into a multi-wall.
